wild harvest: berries!

Blueberries and raspberries galore last weekend in Baxter. Particularly in light of this thread, we had a good time comparing the different kinds of blueberries. I'll post comparison pics shortly.

The blueberries on the spine of the Hogsback were fully ripe, but I only sampled. On my way down I found a couple clearcut areas and ate raspberries until they came out my ears. I can't hear so well now...

I found these brown-berries lying in a clump, right on the trail. I ate a bunch and they tasted horrible. I won't ever try wild berries again.
