Imagine if that had happened on a Red Flag Warning day! Low humidity & high winds could have created quite the forest fire. They were pretty lucky that the ground was covered in snow. I find the comparison to fires from the logging industry or the ski industry to be absurd; they clearly stated "when the employees arrived the next morning" Most ski areas & active logging areas are pretty well populated. Also referenced was the fire detection system; big deal, what about fire suppression?
