Here, we have real winter... but not in the mountains, only on the plains! Need to do a snow dance for the visitors who expect to ski on more than a half dozen trails over holiday break. Good xc skiing the past few days down here on the flats. Most ponds and lakes frozen but not yet safe.

Huge dud of a snowstorm here in the berkshires.. maybe 2-3" of heavy wet snow with some good wind gusts now and then, no way skiable.... My driveway isn't even covered cause of all the rain from yesterday...
