It's all uphill from here. 8 hours and 50 minutes of sunlight on the Rt 2 Corridor today. Folks have been celebrating the beginning of the transition to longer days long before organized religion co-opted the season.

Uphill or downhill? Ha ha. Not sure which term is more appropriate but I’m sure we’ll all be seeing the light after today.

Well, in the Northern Hemisphere yes. What did those pagans in the Southern Hemisphere celebrate on this date...the transition to shorter days?

I took a run up to Milan on RT110, pure blue sky and the Kilkennys are looking good along with the Mahoosucs. Definitely sunglasses weather.

Yup I am trying to work on that;)

(The first 40 miles are free with my plug in Rav 4)
