It just started snowing in New York's Hudson Valley. Forecasts have varied wildy. Some have called for only 3-5 inches, others 8-10. At 5:45 PM in New Paltz, it's coming down about as hard and fast as it has all winter. It appears to be heavy and wet.

I hear were in the 8-10 range here in Oneonta. It just started coming down at 6:12. Looks like the snowshoes will see a bit more action this weekend. Anyone have Friday off?

Looks like we got about 4-5 inches here in west hartford. REAL heavy snow

I dont think it will stay long...saturday is supposed to be sunny and 52 degrees

We ended up with 8"-10" wet heavy snow in the NW Catskills. Now they are predicting rain for this weekend. Going to be gore-tex hiking conditions

Nuthin' here around the southeastern White Mountains! Yes!!! :)

Melt, melt, melt... I'm ready for spring camping and hiking with my leather boots on rocks and dirt.
