Woodland Valley Parking Lot Question

I've been to Woodland Valley twice, but once was car-camping, the other time day-use in winter. Is there a parking fee for the day use lot in the summer? Does this lot fill up pretty early in the summer on weekends?

Yes, there is a parking fee at Woodland Valley payable at the campground ranger station. I've been there many times and never had trouble getting a spot.

Ditto what AOC-1 said. They'll give you a receipt to place inside your windshield to show you've paid. I'm not sure of the current price per night.

The parking lot is quite large. I have pulled in there as late as noon on summer weekends to do the loop, and the lot has never been close to full. I believe the day parking fee was $4 last year. It may be $5 this year. I know Minnewaska went up by $1 this year.
