I really got into outdoor and nature photography this year, and the results have been very rewarding. I've finally been able to convey with the lens the experiences and moods I get while shooting.

Colden from Wright (I did not take many pics this year but I love the mountains in broken clouds...



From Iztaccihuatl in Mexico on the ascent (we would get turned back short of the true summit (we declared a false summit at just over 17K good enough ), due to T-storms)
Orizaba can be seen in the distance. I really blew it here as I did not check to see my camera was in the proper mode and many pictures turned out blurry. This was the only one that was OK.

I am also experimenting with webshots, never used it before.

I know this is not 2006, it is from January 2005, but I thought I would share these photo from Whiteface. An extraordinary summit day when I thought it would be a viewless summit day.
