  • such an underappreciated peak...views were great today and wraps up a grid peak for me...huzzah!! thanks for the greenie
thanks. it was a long winter. hope to meet you on the trails one of these days.
Sounds great. The more I read about Trailwrights, the more I like it. Nice, relaxed years ahead of peakbagging and visiting favorite ranges over and over again, without the redundancy of the Grid. Can't wait to get back out there again.
I think it was Tom (?) that we did on the way to the Moose for your finish. It was pretty easy and straightforward.
Tks for the greenie! We were just saying today that we'd like to check out some of those Trail Rights whacks.
That is high praise indeed, Mohamed. Thank you. Maybe you can give her another one after we finish the winter 4Ks in a couple of years? ;)
Hi Ed, I've been following Romero's progress for a while. Seems quite the prodigy. Funny, I showed Hugh an article on him once, and his response was less than favorable. If Alex wants to do one of the Seven Summits, she'll be allowed to do Kilimanjaro, but that's it. Hugh's worried about the lack of oxygen up high. I think that what Romero's doing is wonderful, and that his parents should be praised for supporting him with his goals. I think Hugh feels the Everest risk is just too high.
Thank you for the kind words and feedback! It was an epic day in the Bonds!
it was so nice to see you and the girls this evening in Ashland..I hope we hook up for some hikes this spring and summer for sure....thank you for the greenie
Hope we can meet for a hike and yes a "grandmother"...2 grandsons ages 7 & 4..have started hiking with them and camping. Thye love it, but I have to share the weekends with their parents so can't hike as much as I would like with them!!
My view name gives my age away....ughhhh
I have no idea what's been causing it. It just started this year and goes away when I take the snowshoes off. I can wear heavy mountaineering boots with crampons and I don't have a problem so I think it's just the way the snowshoes pull on the muscles.
