  • Sorry Andy, seems like a common story. I think I'll take my time with the whole marriage thing. One of my friends told me the other day that they think I'll marry a mountain someday. Doesn't sound like that bad of an idea, a lot cheaper and probably less volatile ;)
    Hi Rob,
I have a slow start, I have add only 2 peaks of my list since the beginning of winter. But tomorrow we will do Whiteface and Esther. And now since this week, I do not work on Fridays. This means that sometimes I'll do the hike on Friday, too.
No Adam has not paid up yet. I figured he would have made the three hour drive to my house and left it on my door step, but it hasn't shown up yet.
Tyler, I wish that money meant more trips. Unfortunately it all went to bills...boo! One day you'll find out that a wife and kids cause you to spend money faster than you ever could on outdoor gear! Unless of course, your smart and build yourself a shack deep in the woods and never come out! If only I had thought of that before.
Andy - great news! And excellent that insurance covered it. Now you'll have more money to blow on getting yourself up to the Dacks!
Plumbing issues all taken care of....I was even able to make a homeowners claim on the water damage to my basement that more the covered the cost of the multiple plumbers trips!
I do believe Adam owes me a 6 pack....or two!
Ahh, good point. That way you only have debt for 10 years ;)

And the other Rob told me about steepandcheep. I had heard about it before, but it was a great reminder!
Well I do have a rather unique college experience. If I was anything but an outdoor recreation major I'm sure I would be less enamored.
Maybe you should come out here an major in outdoor rec too! hahaha. It'd be an awesome time getting a piece of paper to hang on your wall.
    Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyy thereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! :D

Being back at school is awesome, I love it here and my classes (outdoor leadership training, outdoor living skills, natural resource management, and leisure work and society) are AWESOME! The only downside is that I'm far away from the Adirondacks :( Oh well, I'll be back in Feb hopefully. How goes it with you? Having a killer January?
HAHAHAHAHA TYLER! I need to get on there and put pics up.

ROBERTO!!!!! Are you definately in for Memorial Day weekend or what? Should be a good time.
you're not old! and anyway my 87 year old grandfather has a facebook, and if he can do it, i'm sure you'll have NO problem! ;)
