  • Ok, well no worries. I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for the force wishing, we might need it for the 20 miles of Allen-ness.

    Talk to you later!
    Here's the current plan:

"Just so everyone knows, My father and I and at least 2 other friends will be hiking Allen on Saturday. There is also at least 2 other groups going up as well. All are welcome to join us. We'll probably be hiking at a moderate to fast pace (which fluctuates depending on how you define those speeds).

We're planning on being at the trailhead between 6:00am and 6:30am. Feel free to join, vulture, or just give telepathic moral support.

The plan is to hike Sawteeth the next day (Sunday, 22nd). I have no idea what time we'll begin, and I'll have no access to a computer, so you're welcome to join us on that, but at your own risk (not knowing what we're planning exactly).

    Happy Trails!"

Don't know if you're still interested in Sawteeth, but feel free to join us, we'd love to have your company!
Ok, well let me know what you decide. The hike will probably be comparable to Colvin. If you're able to make it, excellent.
haha, my pace is completely customizable! It'd be great to hike again. We're seriously considering Sawteeth on the 22nd. It won't be that long or hard of a day, so we can go slower or whatever. I'll send out a more official invite, but would you care to join us?
yea, i hope it stays that way. i see there might be some snow on wednesday, i hope it's simply a dusting! and keep that river frozen!! *keeping my fingers crossed*
Nadda Much and yourself? We were in Rochester this past weekend for my nephews 3ed B-day. I am staying busy at work and out of trouble hahahahaa What about yourself?
Hey, I haven't had a change to try the hammock yet! The last two weeks I've had activities on Friday night, and it's supposed to be really warm out here for the next several days. I'm sure there will be opportunities in the future, though, I'm just biding my time.

My next winter plan is on the 21st. I hoping for Alan, seems lots of people have climbed it lately. I hope this warm weather won't bring the river to life, though, that would suck!

How about you? What's your next plan?
HAHHAHAHAHAHAA it was killer in the summer with all the tree roots and wetness from the rain. I bet the snow was a bit better if your snow shoes gripped
No, no, no! This has been something that has been in the works since last year. I only just yesterday got confirmation that I will be going. It's not all hiking, I'm working for the first three days at a convention, then hiking for a week. Sorry! But please don't rule me out for any future trips! :)
Ok, so semi-bad news. I won't be able to join you guys on the Cranberry 50. It's bad new cause I can't go, it's "semi" because I'm going out to Denver for a week and a half to go hiking and mountain climbing. So I wish you guys have a blast, and hopefully we can catch up on some other hike.
