On Wed night 3/17 I finished my second round this winter on Mt. Flume. I am actually only 11 peaks shy of finishing a third round which was my goal but I have a pulled quad so I'm not going to make the cutoff. Also saw Bob on Zealand that day:confused: who is getting close to his second round too. An early Congrats to you Bob!

Shake and Bake Farmer!

And you did one complete round before starting the second, right?

Hard work it must have been.....so now party you can....Yoda voice.....:)

Huge Congrats!!! I was so suprised to see anybody else out there on Zealand. sorry to hear about the pulled muscle - guess you are human afterall :> If anybody can do it 3 times in one season, your the one. Keep burning those trails up.

Is this a requirement?

I’m starting to plan my entertainment for next winter. If I plan to start on the first day of winter with a double Pemi Loop - does only the first one count? Should I head for Appalachia and a Presi Traverse after I make it back to Lincoln Woods or can I keep going?

Seriously, this is a terrific accomplishment. It's a real treat to see you occasionally on the trails. Hopefully our paths will cross many more times.

Thanks for all of the terrific entertainment.

Hey FARMER.. you sure you don't want to get into climbing? You seem to have that hiking stuff down pat.

In winter 05/06, I was 14 peaks shy of completing a third round.
Late in Fall '05, there was a snow storm that dumped a good amount of
wet snow on the WMNF, and many trails were "clogged" with leaners.
Ed H. & Michael W. were instrumental in getting out there to start the
clean-up with the coming of winter in mind!!! As winter commenced, with my sites set on taking a crack at the NH 4's in the shortest amount of time, I would take a pruning saw and travel the trails that I would be using later that season, visiting the summits in the process. I remember Carrigain, Hancocks, and the Wildcat Ridge trails being particularly nasty.

As that quote from Sir E Hillary indicates "just an ordinary (chap), sufficiently motivated".

That's pretty impressive Farmer. You have a ton of potential, maybe someday you'll join the human race.

Should I believe you actually did it? Jason said it was unbelievable..I'm going to interpret that as he doesn't believe you could do it. Wait..he was with you? Well.. I'll guess I'll just question your motives behind doing such things without knowing you then, then describe why my reasons behind doing such things are so much better than yours.
