Adirondacks backpacking/peakbagging, 9/20-9/24

Our itinerary:

- Thursday 9/20 - drive to NY; hike in to Slide Brook lean-to from the Elk Lake trailhead.
- Friday 9/21 - day hike Macomb, S. Dix, E. Dix, Hough, and Dix. 2nd night at Slide Brook.
- Saturday 9/22 - hike out, reprovision, hike in to tentsite off Roaring Brook Trail.
- Sunday 9/23 - day hike Giant and Rocky Peak. Second night at Roaring Brook tentsite.
- Monday 9/24 - drive home.

Sounds like a fun trip. I always love my time in the Adirondacks; I did the Giant RPR traverse a couple weekends ago, one of my favorites.
