I had no idea you had personal experience with this sort of trauma. Talk about preaching to the choir . . . I sincerely hope that all turned out all right for you.

I've led fellow SAR dog handlers out of the woods by the hand twice because of eye injuries to them. And my niece underwent three successful surgeries to save her vision from another 'whacking incident.

I realize this thread has about run its course, so my apologies for jumping into this thread a little late.

But anyway just wanted to add yet another “commandment”:
