Elephant Mountain (Maine) B-52 crash site is being violated

Sad but true... The wreckage from the 1963 crash site which killed 7 servicemen in 1963 is being pilfered for scrap metal. B-52

Not only are thieves breaking into vehicles at trailheads, they are also robbing grave sites

That's sad. Aluminum scrap is about $0.29 now. A couple of buckets are not going to get them too much money.
