Had winds and snow on the Livermore trail this morning. Turned back at the South Slide trail sign. The Tripyramids will have to wait for another day.

Going strong here now. Heavy dry snow, blowing, low visibility. I can see less than halfway to the back of a 5-acre field. There's at least 4-5" new snow, maybe more. Lousy day to drive. Satellite internet connection comes and goes.

The snow never stopped here-it snowed lightly all day yesterday before startig to come down hard again last night.

Going strong in WV at 2:30pm... Probably 8" down, and now the winds are starting to swirl. NWS has upgraded snow totals in their latest forecast, could be as much as 20" by tomorrow AM.

It's very light fluff, and as early as noon, it was snowing hard enough to fill in tracks between runs at Waterville Valley. Sweet riding, but it was cold too.

In Thornton (about 800 feet lower than WV) I only see about four inches on my deck, and still no wind.

Delightful light stuff, spent about an hour snowshoeing just before lunch.

Plow came through about two hours ago...and in that time we layed down enough fresh to skate ski the neighborhood...AKA ... really falling here in Epping!

Just got the call...School is cancelled tomorrow, for #7 in a row...

Goodbye april break!

Spent Saturday morning snowblowing and shoveling here in Plaistow. Now it's Sunday night and I just did some more since we got several more inches throughout the day today. And I'll be back out there Monday morning....winter is here with a vengeance.

There's a foot or more on the ground now from this storm, and moderate to heavy snowfall continues. Light & fluffy to start, a bit heavier the second time I shoveled and snow-threw around 4 p.m. I don't think we'll have any trouble reaching the higher side of the prediction, 16". Our local mountains must really be getting hammered.

Snow

It's pretty much snowed steady here since Friday afternoon. Like Bob C and Tim we have somewhere in the neighborhood of 16" of awesome powder. Wish there were some good hills nearby! Tough to judge the depth with all the blowing and drifting. We lost power again tonight, thank God it was brief!

Here in Bethlehem, NH at about 8:15 PM on Dec-21, we had about 8.5 inches of NEW SNOW that has accumulated since about 10 AM this morning, and it continues to fall!

Prior to today’s snowfall, the railing shown in the photo below had been cleared of a previous 8+ inches that had accumulated on Friday/Saturday (Dec 19-20).

There's over a foot of powder on the ground here at the Sugarloaf base at this point, and it just keeps coming down...

Rub it in Loafers....

12 inches friday in Meredith

3 inches saturday

13 inches as of 10 pm sunday..windy at times today though by the sounds of it could be some drifting tomorrow...

take a nice rip down Lower Narrow Guage for me.....:)

Even down here in metro-west boston.

about 24" since friday.

Pile that, on top of the wires that are still down from last weeks ice storm, and people with still no power.

I feel sorry for them, as well as the utility guys.
