I am white with envy you guys, geez, mister man, all we've had here are threatened "winter storm watches/warnings" that never got beyond the real categorization of "winter weather advisory", to which I would advise getting better forecasters.
Where are the days I miss so much when your $5 sled you bought from the Rich's in Gorham would take you airborne, land you in a corkscrew, then spin backwards so you could rack your spine directly against the cable support of a lightpole? Nothing like tightly wound inch-and-a-half cable at 15 degrees. Talk about shaking up your spinal cord. If you have children you love, let them schuss down the Route 2 embankment above the State Garage at the end of Stag Hollow Road. The only place better is the ski jump landing at Nansen.
Enjoy thoroughly everyone. There's nothing down here where we are. I can't wait till February.
