Sharpen the Hillsounds. Fill the big flask. More layers in the bigger pack, more food also. Waterbottles upside down. Goggles for the alpine zone. Fresh batteries for everything that takes 'em, and a pouch around my neck inside clothes to keep them warmer next to me. Balaclava. Wool trousers from the cedar chest. Snowshoes, and check the harness on the sled. Stove and more fuel. Actually use the space blanket.
The fun starts soon. Bring it on, laddie, bring it on.
