My pet peeve is when little broken off branch stubs are left on the blowdowns. I have seen them perfectly set up as scalp rippers on the duck unders or as crotch rippers on the climb overs. To me, clean sawn off branches are a safety benefit for those following me down the trail. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to stop and trim up branch stubs that are a hazard to those passing by the blowdowns.
