Just got the sole of one half of a pair of old Merrill XC boots restitched. Still too good to throw away but not usable unless the welt could be restitched. Had asked at Limmer's about the possibility of getting it repaired there when passing through Intervale this past winter. They might be willing if I could send them pictures. That was my fall-back but I am very satisfied with the work done by Mariachi Shoe Repair, 113 Avenue A, T.F. 01376. Very fast work. Very reasonable cost (I tipped him almost as much as he was charging me.) Highly recommended. Very unique.
