Question about Alander Mt, Mounts Race and Everett

I drove up from Bash Bish falls in NY and at the begining of the road that goes over the MT and down into CT. there was a big sign saying road closed untill April 30th.Since it was well into May I kept driving only to find Boulders blocking the road.Then I drove into Salsbury to find gates at that end of the road.And no there is no snow anywhere in CT in May. Thanks again for the info.

Sounds like the "private enclave" just got a lot more private. I could find almost nothing on the "Mount Riga Corp." Maybe that's where the aliens from Area 51 are living.

This means a lot of trail access descriptions are now incorrect!

I was just up on East Road on Friday. It is back open now, so you can get to it from both the north and the south.
