On my drive home last night I noticed the sign when turning onto 113 in Holderness that the Rattlesnake Trails are closed.
I would guess it is for mud and will reopen when dried up, but not sure.
Just trying to save someone a trip if they wanted to head over that way.
;)

When I was there in November of 2010 some of the trails were extremely eroded. Pasture for one that I recall specifically having spots where the mountain would fall away under your feet as you walked over it. I wonder who, if anyone, maintains the trails? If I'm not mistaken most of the land is private. The trails certainly run *very* close to buildings at points. It's good to hear they are being protected this time of year!
