Considering this thread evolved into a discussion about why Jefferson seemed to be a popular place for rescues and how this latest incident was in fact a rescue, I would indeed say 'Jefferson strikes again.'
Was it inexperienced hikers hiking up Jefferson? No, and I never said that it was in relation to this article. I was simply pointing out that rescuers were called onto Mt. Jefferson yet again this year (the thread was in the General forum and wasn't directly referring to Jefferson, so it seemed relevant). The hikers were unprepared, which is a common theme in most of these recent Jefferson incidents (though, it seems to be in pretty much all published hiking incidents).
Just another piece of data for the Jefferson trend.
