Months ago plans where made.. adam, Dean, Robert, Paul and that one lone Eagles fan(Andy) set a date To bag these elusive peaks... Adam, Dean and andy would tackle Seymour on Friday as myself and Robert worked.. Met them friday at Tylers Hostel in Sarance Lake.. All went well for them..

An early start of 6am was of coarse in order.. Now we are to meet Barkeatter also .. Off we set at 6am.. all making it to Donaldson.. myself and robert decide to knockout D&E first and summit Seward returning the Ward Brook trail so we have no more accent. We would meet up that the day with adam, john and paul, andy and dean only once with our choosen route which turned ot to very nice.. Having Run into Harry K i think, Heres a shout out to Jay H he says from a crazy canadian .!!! Which after reading reg. Jay was in Doing Seymour...Good fun and great butt slide off Sewards North side.. Feeling good about this year.. this make 6 since dec. 30th...WHOOT!!

Banged out them in 12.5 hours happy and satisfied they where behind us.. Snow was a few inches to a foot of hard pack on top... Some Ice going up Seward but MSR Evos worked fine with some caution.. Light snow all day but little accum. Never seen so many people in that range, had to be 2 dozen plus....its there for the takin'......

Congratulation :) I need to do them for my 46W

Nice! Where's the pics?

I haven't seen HarryK in ages -- a HK sighting is always a good sign, indeed.
:)

I saw him last winter when we did Slide in the Catskill. It's been so long since I saw him I could not remember when. I was happy to talked to him.:)

Well done Rob and gang! I hope to get Seymour sometime this winter. Is the trail to Ward brook lean to skiable yet?

Hats off to Harry K !! We miss you Harry! I don't have anyone to help carry TJ to his tent anymore. ;)

Re: the trail to Ward Brook, probably not if you value your skis... there are some sketchy water crossings and a lot of ice and semi-exposed rocks.

The two rangers we ran into on the Ward Brook truck trail on saturday skied in from Ampersand Club property, they did not ski from the summer lot...

Great Job
Sounds like a lot of people have been hiking back in there the last couple of weeks
As far as the Krazy Kanadian goes; glad he is still out hiking he is missed by many including me
