Today on Mt. Shaw (2,990') in the Ossipee Mountains of NH (Carroll County), Marc Howes completed four seldom completed hiking lists while accompanied by his friends Damon, Keith, Julie, June and John.

The lists were: NH 200 Highest Peaks, NH County Prominence Peaks, the Northeast USA Peaks with 2,000' of prominence and the New England Fifty Finest Peaks.

Congratulations Marc on all of your hiking prowess!

Nice job. But i'll be far more impressed by the Lonesome Lake keg trot.

Is that the only pic???! Shoulda hired a photographer!
Congrats, MBP. Those Prominence lists were a long time coming.

I don't think he cares about the lists or peaks, as long as he's the youngest to have completed them. Congratz once again ! :D

Cigar!

Is that the same cigar I gave you on Eagle Cliff? Smells like it!

Sorry we missed this, we'll be there for your non-grid finish!

Buzz Job

Hey Marc

In recognition of this event, I took my airplane and buzzed the summit of Shaw around 1100 on SAT.

I didn't see anybody. Are you certain that you got the true summit? :D Maybe I buzzed the wrong peak? :D

And no, I did nothing illegal. Really! ;)

Actually Jim, we did see you. We were on our way over to Shaw from Flagg when we saw your yellow taildragger flying above us. You just missed us. We had no idea that it was you though. That would have been pretty cool to have been on the summit when you flew over. Maybe Marc's next list finish! :D
